The humongous Absolute Sound Editors’ Choice issue arrived in the mail yesterday – this issue is almost entirely devoted to shorter, ‘capsule’ reviews, broken into categories and then ordered by price range, in order of ascending cost. There are literally hundreds of reviews, and as a result it’s a very tightly packed, but very clean issue. Due to the volume of ads, there were only two or three options in the entire book for editorial spreads, and even those are dense with copy.
