I know these posts should be much more magazine design, production, art direction, page layout-oriented than they currently are, but none of us who are in this industry would be where we are (a walled garden) without the tech we use every day to actually create. And of course, most of the hardware used by a designer comes from Apple - maybe not in all cases, but I'd be happy to bet that the vast majority of graphic designers use an Apple product in their day-to-day.

Cult of Mac, one of my aforementioned favorite blogs and podcasts recently posted this 40 year history of the Mac. You can scroll through and read the history, enjoy the images, but I highly recommend D. Griffin Jones' YouTube narration. It's called a mini documentary, let's hope that means there's a lengthier version to come.

I wish I had never donated my lampshade iMac. I hope it's still out there in the world, bending its neck, being amazing.
