As mentioned in this case study of a recent (and ridiculously fast) print magazine redesign for the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors, here are some examples of before and after, side-by-side pages for comparison. Our goals with this redesign were to give the magazine a much needed refresh, despite the incredible time constraints we were under to do so, and make sure that the new look and feel was easily adaptable to the wide range of content that the society produces from issue to issue - all while maintaining a consistent look and feel. It elevates their branding, and their vehicle for selling advertising. There will be more changes - it's the first issue, and we were under some crazy-town time constraints, but I think the value in the new look speaks for itself, not to mention the literal cost-savings for the client through better use of space, leading to a lower page count.
