We were lucky enough to attend a two-day class hosted by magCulture in mid-February. The Flatplan "brings together wannabe magazine publishers to learn from a series of talks by and Q&As with editors, designers, printers and distributors, along with group discussion sessions." The two sessions, each starting early in the morning for us (hosted in England, attendance via Zoom), were really fun and informative. They were also a nice reminder that we are not all operating in a vacuum, and it's worth poking your head outside once in a while and talking to other people with similar goals and aspirations.

We'll definitely be checking out more of the events magCulture have to offer. If you're interested in finding out more about them, they have an archive of podcasts here, and if you're like me and spend too much money on magazines and book, you can look at the magazines they sell here.
