Art Direction for The Tulane School of Liberal Arts

The Kind of Design Opportunity That Doesn’t Come Along Too Often

A few months ago, we were approached by the Tulane School of Liberal Arts to create a completely new look and feel for their upcoming 2026 magazine. The annual project, managed by Karen Shalett, the school’s Communications and Marketing Director, was already well underway by the time we came onboard. Content was assigned and being written, images were being gathered or photographed, and a magazine map already existed. Our role was to develop a look and feel appropriate for each section while respecting the school’s established brand guidelines.
